New Horror Anthology – Symphony of The Damned

I signed my first actual, honest-to-god contract for a piece of fiction at the start of the month, for a horror anthology published by Savage Realms Press, called Symphony of The Damned. The book was published a couple of days ago, and I may have to frame that contract!

I submitted “Shadows Under Leamouth”, my homage to HP Lovecraft’s The Shadow Over Innsmouth. The story was featured previously by British horror, Sci-Fi and mythos publisher Rainfall Books; it’s a creepy little tale of a young journalist who gets a much more shocking story than she bargained for.

The new anthology features twenty horror authors, coming in at a substantial 400 pages. The book has an introductory price on UK Kindle of just 77p ($1 in the US), so why not grab a copy while it’s cheap? I’ve linked to a preview and purchase link below for the UK Kindle edition.

The anthology is currently being reviewed by some fairly big-name horror magazines; I hope my cheery little tale of East London fish monsters gets a special mention.

Please get in touch if you buy the anthology; I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Disclaimer – some of the stories are pretty gory, as is my contribution; not gratuitously so, but be prepared for parental discretion content!
